During the 10 days of Stampede the Stampede Park is abuzz with festivities akin to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, but much much bigger. Two of the main attractions are the rodeo and the chuckwagon races. Between these there is 1 million dollars in prizemoney on offer, so the competition is fierce.
